IF CLAUSE/CONDITIONAL CLAUSE


  1. Present Real
If + S + V1, S + will/can/may + V1
Example:
If she comes, I will go with her. (Probably she comes)
  1. Present Unreal
If + S + V2, S + would/could/might + V1
Example:
If she came, I would go with her.  (She doesn’t come, so I will not go with her.)
  1. Past Unreal
If + S + had + V3, S + would have/could have/might have + V3
                Example:
                If she had studied English, she could have got a good career in her job. 
                (She didn’t study English, so she could not get a good career in her job.)
